It took me almost two months to read it, but I finally finished The Nightmare by Lars Kepler. The power couple known to be the best writers of the hour of nordic crime stories have managed to create a very successful series following the detective Joona Lina while he unravels the most twisted crimes Sweden has ever seen. The Nightmare is the second book after The Hypnotist, and already with 5 more books ahead of it. From the look of it, the series seems pretty good, and I’m not going to say otherwise. It’s been almost two and a half months since I read and saw Ready Player One and I’m finally ready to talk about it. I’m sure you know the feeling of loving a story so much and being so invested in the world and the characters that it hurts. You just want to read it all, no matter if it’s getting to the end because you only care about knowing the whole story. And then… BAM! A punch right in the feelings. There isn’t anything else to discover, no more story. Then you realise the world is not real, the characters aren’t real, and that real life sucks, now you are upset. And it gets painful to remember that nothing is real. So, instead of keep crawling back inside the book, I prefer to move on and then, after a while, I can talk non stop about it without any …

To tell you the truth, I wasn’t planning on writing this post. Thirteen Reasons Why isn’t one of my favourite show by far. I think the series started nicely, but towards the end, it got less impressive. Yet, I was interested in watching the second season to see what was going to happen next. I binge watched it in two days (from Friday afternoon to Saturday night), and I wish I hadn’t seen the last episode. I don’t feel this new season is a waste of time since it’s very entertaining and full of drama. Although, it’s not a good source of awareness and a proper portrait of mental health issues.

Last year, I started writing a post reviewing The Shannara Chronicles, although I came to the realization that I didn’t have anything positive or exciting that was worth doing a review of. At some point, I was bored and even mad while writing so I ended up scrap it. Although this time the show took a 180º degree change for better and I think is time to bring back my thoughts on season 1 comparing with season 2. Update (8th March 2018): Unfortunately, until further notice, The Shannara Chronicles won’t have a third season. Spike Tv has cancelled any possibility of broadcasting another season, although the producer of the series is currently trying to get along with other networks that would want to. Author: Dan Brown Publisher: Doubleday Books Year: 2017 Pages: 461 Since I read the Da Vinci Code, 2 years ago, I kept my eye on Dan Brown. Although at the time, I ended up not posting a review of the book, even though, I enjoy it more than I thought I would. When I heard that Dan was releasing another Robert Langon adventure I wasn’t particularly excited. I knew I would like the book, but it wasn’t on the top of my list to buy. When I read the first chapter on the WHSmith blog, it got me hooked. The book takes place in Barcelona, but the first building Langon visits it’s the Guggenheim Museum, in Bilbao. It might not be a big deal for you, but the architect in me got really excited to read this book.

One thing that you won’t find here on the blog is topics/things that I don’t like to talk about, either if it’s bad or good. If I have something to say I probably will make a post about it. So when a book or a movie excites me I want to make a review because I need to talk. You already know by the title that I saw Murder on the Orient Express and I wasn’t this excited/thrilled/pumped to see a movie in a long time. I had super very high (of the roof) expectations for this movie. I never read any of Agatha Christie’s novels – which I no longer can say – but I watched the ITV Miss Marple series and it changed my life.
