Oh well, birds are singing, the days are warming up and getting “longer” and is finally changing for the perfect mod to an outdoor reading time. I love being at home, comfortable but the connection with nature is something amazing, that we can’t experience through a glass window. The third month of 2017 is over and I’m still happy with my reading rhythm. I’m so proud of not getting into any reading slump – yet! I do enjoy reading but is so easy for me to put a book aside and just turn on the tv. Since the last week of February, I was reading Carve The Mark by Veronica Roth and it was different. It wasn’t the usual happy time’s story and wasn’t the book to set you with a happy mod, instead, it was interesting, captivating in so many different levels. When I remember this book I don’t …
February is over which means Spring is just around the corner and I’m pretty excited to leave my heavier coats at home. So long chill and crisped weather, hello rain and sunshine! Today this blog post is going to get on that note. Flowers are starting to blossom and I don’t want to miss that. So right now I’m on the hunt for the PERFECT book to take out on a romantic walk in the nearest city park. I’m trying so hard not to pick The French Gardener by Santa Montefiore and reread it – not that it isn’t a good idea I just think I should explore other titles. If you want to know more I did a review on Monday. I was getting so tired of reading the books. I just read Allegiant right after I finished Insurgent I actually can’t even remember reading the end of Insurgent. Is so strange. And jumping right from one to the other without any break kinda feel I’ve been reading a big hole book with 800 pages (probably the size of both books together) and the second book being so… – I don’t want to say boring because it wasn’t – steady and it was so slow – again I have a review of it – there wasn’t as many shocking situations and emotions …
We all have years that leave a big mark in our lives maybe with the day we enter a new school or university, maybe with a new friend, there are thousands of reasons and for me there was only two huge moments: with 14 years old my personality and posture in the world changed a lot; and my second year of Uni. To the first one, I’ll maybe talk about it in another day, the one for important for today’s post is the second. In the middle of so many changes to becoming and adult – or at least trying to – I came across a bunch of Youtubers and one of them I’ve been following for more than a year and is my true inspiration. Thanks to her I decided to start reading, to buy what I wanted to read and to fully enjoy a book. I’m talking about the one …
