One of the most exciting moments of the year has finally come. The BookTube-A-Thon has arrived!! And that means I’m not doing anything besides reading during an entire week. Now that is what I call a vacation. From the 30th of June to the 5th of August, the bookworms all around the world gather for one mission: read together. The challenges have been revealed over two weeks ago, on the BookTube-A-Thon YouTube channel. Since then, I’ve been looking around my owned books to try and find the right books to fulfil the challenges without buying any. Once that was done, I calculated the total amount of pages I have to read and how many I have to read per day. I even estimated how much time I should spend reading per day! When it comes to doing the maths, I don’t joke around. The only thing I have left to …
Is it just me or just yesterday we were starting the month of June? I’m starting to get really confused about the time. Maybe is the summer vacations starting that is messing up my mind or just life distracting me all the time. Either way, June is long gone and we are already in July… But seriously I fell like just a week ago, I wrote my May Wrap-Up and now I’m here writing the June one. All of this is making my brain hurt, so it’s better if I start this wrap-up.
Holly molly, May is already over. This was one of the busiest months so far and I can’t believe it’s already over. In book-wise, actually wasn’t the happiest. I don’t know what is happening to me, I feel that I’ve spent this year so far inside a big reading slump – even though my Goodreads tells me I already read 15 books. My TBR pile is growing, I’m still buying books like the world is going to end, and I keep looking out for more books I don’t know to buy later. But I’m not reading any! Can you see my problem??
How is it possible that April feels longer than the first three months of the year? I swear last month took soooo long to pass, but at the same time, how on earth is already May?? And I already have plans for every week of the month, not kidding. My social life is on fire this month, which means I’ll be able to hibernate for the rest of the year. Jokes aside, I have no idea how my reading is going to be. What I do know is how April has been, so let’s dive into it.
I’m sorry for what it’s coming next. In honour of today’s celebrations, I have to say this. This year, Easter must be a joke! Ok, I’m done. So sorry about this, let’s move on. Another month has ended, so it’s time to do an overall of all the books I read, bought, and discover.
For me, the end of the month is always so excited. I have the opportunity to talk books non-stop and share any new books that caught my eye and will probably take my money away. Even though I’m still a little bit stuck in a reading slump, it doesn’t demolish me from searching for more books to grow even more my Goodreads shelf.

With my Christmas readathon starting tomorrow I had to order a few books from Book Depository. As if this wasn’t enough, I also have more second-hand books to haul – at least these ones were free. The cherry on top of the cake is the overly large amount of books I add to my TBR pile on Goodreads. For my sake – and yours – let’s cut to the chase and talk about the ones that really matter. On last month’s post, I was sad for not being able to buy books online. Thankfully, that changed and I’ve received all of them. As I said I’m doing a readathon of my own, until the 24th of December. Therefore, I bought this …
