So this is great. My surface pen got out of battery, and I don’t have any AAAA batteries so I can’t use it. Therefore I can’t do a what I was planning for today. And this, kids, is why you shouldn’t procrastinate because one day you will be on top of the deadline and something isn’t going to work and time is ticking, so you have to improvise. And that’s what today’s post is going to be. IMPROVE! My point was to do a cute autumnal bookmark. I thought of using a leaf to mark your book is something I wish to do.But instead of going outside and pick up some leaves why not making them. I love making stuff and if they don’t take much time or don’t challenge too much my drawing ability – heads up not the best drawer over here – I can enjoy myself and …
A few weeks ago, while going through my Bloglovin’ feed, I bump into a DIY post for tassel earrings. They are so simple and beautiful I wanted to make them. Although I don’t have my ears pierced, so it’s pointless to be making a pair of earring. But then it streaks me. Why not doing a key-chain? For sure it would look great and is something I can use. Then I realized that a few earing designs could be turned into key-chains and everyone can use key-chains, I mean how doesn’t have keys carrying around all the time? But not everyone has pierced ears. So by my need to own beautiful earrings designs, I decided to do a few inspired DIYs so I can contemplate – and use – every day. Let’s get to business! As I said before, this isn’t an idea I had from scratch it is inspired …
* This post might contain affiliated links. To know more visit my Disclaimer page. I’ve decided to pass on last month Book Overview because it would be a disaster. I’ve been in the weirdest reading mood ever. I read a total of three books and not a single one of them was started in those months. So it has been hard and sad times for my babies. I haven’t given them much attention, but things are going to change (hopefully). Before I get to that is better guide you month by month. Try not to get lost I have so much to say… August August was the worst. After the incomplete readathon, I had a couple of books I was already reading, so I finished those by the half o the month, but then I shut down. Don’t ask me why but I just stopped reading. I wasn’t in …
I had the craziest idea ever! It isn’t the first time I see a pom-pom rug over on Pinterest, and they are so fluffy that I just want one for myself. Until here there is nothing crazy about making one from scratch except if it is supposed to have 1,2m for 2m!! It’s HUGE!! I mean is the size that I want my rug but imagine how many pom-poms I have to make to be able to cover the whole thing! I still can’t believe how much time it will take me to create this. So now I need to make pom-poms until my hands fell off – joking! But it’s a great opportunity to talk you through a few ways how you can make them. While DIYing the different methods some craft fails happened… And I’m going to share what went wrong for a change. Also, going to share …
So shamefully I forgot that the equinox happened yesterday. For some reason, I thought it would be in October?! Bottom line, I was planning a special post to welcome Autumn and yesterday would be the perfect excuse. Now I just have to do it when I feel like it. I wanted to do something special, and now I have to post something delicious but not exactly autumn related. Complaining apart, I wanted to share this recipe for months but kept delaying it. Now is finally the time to tell you the best way to do mushrooms. Since I did it for the first time, it has been a family favourite. I’m just going to warn you that it will hook you up. I found this recipe on Yummly when I wanted to do something different with a few maroon mushrooms I had in the fridge. I’m always looking for different …
This past weekend I took some time to clear-up my Instagram follows. It got to a point where I was following almost 450 people, and no one can see that many accounts and don’t miss out on someone. Since I usually don’t spend too much time scrolling down my Instagram feed and since they decided to change it from the chronological order, I want to minimize the great photos I would miss out. So I had to do the lamest task ever. I opened one by one and saw how was the account feed. If it pleased my eyeballs, I would keep it. I know it sounds superficial, but Instagram is where I go to find inspiration, so I want my feed to be all about pretty things. While I was starting to regret the idea, I realized that a few of the accounts I didn’t have to open and …

I was just randomly watching a Youtube video, and an add popped up. I had just started blogging and was looking for every help as possible to write better in English. Before Grammarly, I was writing with what I had learned until that time and the help of Google Translate. Obviously, there’s no need to tell you I wasn’t improving my learning and for sure making simple grammar mistakes. Every time I think about it thank God Grammarly exists, or else no one would read my posts. What is Grammarly? Back to the most important question. Grammarly is an online grammar checker, but not like any other. It can detect more than 250 common mistakes while you are …
I love to be surrounded by pretty things. Actually, who doesn’t?! So, I thought it would be nice to share a few picks to get you inspired and also to inspire myself to create a cute little reading nook. My goal is to create a happy place where I can feel inspired, creative, and cosy. I’ve managed to clear up a room in my house to be my office/craft room. The entire room is – and will be – a work in progress until I’m satisfied with how it looks – which is going to take FOREVER. Meaning, I can do more of these posts since I’ll be searching endlessly for more decor and inspiration. YAYH! As a blogger, I want the room to be especially Pinterestic and also super Instagramable, respecting the basic colour scheme I’ve chosen. One of the walls is in a blueish grey tone in contrast …

Since I’ve taken this HUGE break to shack thing up on the blog, I never got to tell you how was my first readathon, The BookTube-A-Thon. If you heard, you’ll know it took place at the end of July. Today is September 9th and here I am rambling about something that should have been rambled last month. At that time, I was excited to try this new thing that would bring together a whole community. A few times I cross path with people saying they did not enjoy the idea of making a challenge out of reading. I understand why. Most importantly, you should be reading because you like, not to read more books then person X or accomplish some pointless goal. It’s not a race. Even though I was curious and once I get the curiosity bug only trying out can make it go away. After all, I could …
July was officially the craziest month for me. The first week I was still with exams, the second I was cleaning up my room and office – and is not done yet. By the third week when I thought it would be time to get organized to be able to set my schedule free for the BookTube-A-Thon the time passed flying. Soon I realized it was already the 24th and the first day of the readathon. Three days in, I had a drastically change of plans and went to work for a friend of mine. The readathon was over for me since it was going to take the last four days. For the last day of the month, I was going to Porto for a chance to see an exhibition about Leonardo Da Vinci. Now is the 9th of August and I have no clue where did the time go. …
This review comes really late. I saw the movie on the 12th of June and I thought I would fail. I never saw a Pirate of the Caribbean in theatres and this was my chance before they decide to put an end to the saga. I never thought they would produce another movie and the fourth one was already a surprise, so when Disney dropped the news about another movie I was thrilled with excitement. Therefore, today is finally the day I share with you, my thoughts and opinions about the newest movie of Pirates of The Caribbeans: Dead Men Tell No Tales. To start off, I’ve realised at the end of the movie that they use another name for the fifth instalment Salazar’s Revenge. With a bit of search, I found out Disney changed the title for the UK version because of some trademark issues. Either way, the movie …
