Last month, I ended in the best possible way: buying new books. I talked all about it in my April Book Overview, but by that time I already knew how would start this month post: more new books. I already spent money with 4 new books, and them my so trusted book shop went for a price drop. I mean… who can resist to saving some bucks?? I knew the opportunity had come for me to finally buy Fantastic Beasts & Where To Find Them: The Original Script by J. K. Rowling. I loved the movie and I kinda do regret not doing a review back when I saw it. Also, I was recommended to read the book because it was sure I would love it. The whole month had passed and I’m yet to rewatch the film and read the script, and probably read and watch at the same …

Today's post is a special story that happened on 4th of April - over a month ago. I love Bruno Mars, especially his last album: 24K Magic. Obviously, when I saw the world tour dates I was so excited because he was coming to Portugal.

Oh well, birds are singing, the days are warming up and getting “longer” and is finally changing for the perfect mod to an outdoor reading time. I love being at home, comfortable but the connection with nature is something amazing, that we can’t experience through a glass window. The third month of 2017 is over and I’m still happy with my reading rhythm. I’m so proud of not getting into any reading slump – yet! I do enjoy reading but is so easy for me to put a book aside and just turn on the tv. Since the last week of February, I was reading Carve The Mark by Veronica Roth and it was different. It wasn’t the usual happy time’s story and wasn’t the book to set you with a happy mod, instead, it was interesting, captivating in so many different levels. When I remember this book I don’t …

Advise: I’m going to try and keep this review spoiler free, but if you are going to read this book for the fist time when you reach the 150 pages is better to only pursuit if you have HOURS to spend. Believe me, you will need them because the last thing you will want to do is to put this book down. I’ve learned this the hard way while reading until 3 o’clock in the morning to be waking up at 7 – although it was so worth it! Cath only has one passion: Simon Snow. Whole her life she was hand to hand with her twin sister, Wren. Both shared the same love for Snow but Cath is the only one that takes it seriously enough to start writing her own fan fiction based on the relationship between him and his nemesis Baz. When both go to University, Wren …

It always feels sad to close a book. It feels as a world had just stopped existing. Opening it again releases all those characters, those relationships, those stories. But closing a book for the last time is even sadder. In those times we know it was a good book, we know it was worth the time. Carve The Mark was not an exception.

It has been so long since I’ve shared a recipe here on the blog. For a change, I decided to step up the game and show a dish I enjoy doing because of the use of two ingredients I can’t eat: curry and coconut milk. So if you are like me and can’t even think about tasting the small amount you should give this recipe a try. I call this an NO-CURRY-LOVERS because I never liked the taste of curry and every time someone suggested to have curry for dinner I’m usually the first to complain. And I know I’m not the only one who doesn’t like it so want to give a second option for people that want to cook it but doesn’t like it. My father loves curry but usually, we never cook it because of neither my mother or myself like it. Also, I don’t like the …
